General Seating
The Ark features general admission chair seating in rows facing the stage. In this intimate listening room, every seat offers an excellent view and acoustic experience. Front rows provide the most up-close, intimate experience, while mid-section center seats are the overall sweet spot for balanced sound and sightlines.
Atmosphere
The Ark is a listening venue — audiences are expected to be attentive and respectful during performances. This creates an exceptionally intimate and special concert experience. Cell phone use is generally discouraged during shows.

Parking Near The Ark – Ann Arbor, MI
The Ark is in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, with multiple convenient parking options within a short walk.
City Parking Structures
Ann Arbor's downtown parking structures are the most convenient options. The 4th & Washington structure (115 E Washington St) and Liberty Square structure (318 W Liberty St) are each a 2–5 minute walk. Evening and weekend rates are typically $1–$2/hour, and many structures offer free parking after 6 PM on evenings and weekends.
Street Parking
Metered street parking on Main Street and surrounding streets is available; meters are often free evenings and Sundays.
Rideshare
Uber and Lyft are widely available in downtown Ann Arbor. Drop-off is directly in front of The Ark at 316 S Main Street.
Tips
Arrive 15–20 minutes early, especially on weekends or University of Michigan game days when downtown parking can be limited.

The box office is open on show nights approximately 1–2 hours before doors. Bring valid government-issued photo ID for will call pickup.
Ticket Delivery
Tickets are delivered via email as mobile or print-at-home e-tickets. Some events may use Ticketmaster or Eventbrite — check theark.org for specific event info.
